Hornsey Lodge meets twice a year on the fourth Wednesday in the months of March (Installation) and November.
Meetings
All meetings are held at Painters Hall, 9 Little Trinity Lane, London EC4V 2AD. The nearest Underground Station is Mansion House, which is 5 minutes away.
To be eligible to join this Craft Escorting Officers Lodge, you will need to be able to show proof of having been appointed as such and under normal circumstances have completed escorting duties for the Metropolitan Grand Lodge of London. As escorting duties are logged and confirmed by email this should be simple to prove.
It may be that during your year as an Active Escorting Officer, the Pandemic with its resulting lockdowns prevented you from carrying out your duties. In such circumstances this will not prevent you from joining Hornsey Lodge.
Membership
We are very pleased that our membership is growing and currently is in excess of seventy brethren.
Ritual
In keeping with both UGLE and Metropolitan Grand Lodge we follow Emulation Ritual and in keeping with current practice have later starting times and streamline our meetings.
Fees
Our joining fee is £xxx together with an annual membership subscription. Dining costs for both members and their guests are ‘at cost’.
Hall Stone Jewel Lodge
Hornsey Lodge which was originally consecrated in 1861 is a Hall Stone Jewel Lodge contributing to Freemason’s Hall as a permanent memorial to those brethren who made the supreme sacrifice during the First World War.
